I do Praise the Lord,I haven't been blogging so much lately. If you believe all things are possible. Joel Osteen has a great message about this subject. Because after all all things are possible with God. Even if all does not go your way, the possibilities out there are amazing. God lives us and we should love and revere him in our lives each day.
"If you believe, all things are possible."
Take the time to talk with the Lord, and don't forgot to thank him for all the blessings around you. You say you don't see any blessings but if you open your eyes to the world around you, they are there.
Make a list of the people who love you and who you love, are they not blessings to you. You woke up this morning. Maybe you are at a low point in your life and you don't think that is a blessing, but it is. Take your problems and sadness to the Lord and you will feel relieved of your sorrow and burden, He will take the load for you. He will carry you through the sorrow to the light on the other hill.
Bless You!

Joel Osteen
Joel Osteen is a vibrant speaker and each time I listen to him I feel his message. He is motivated and motivating from the time he walks on to the stage until he walks off.
His presentation of faith is a message that brings hope and belief to millions of people around the world.
He reminds us that with God,all things are possible. If you are feeling down or grief stricken,Joel will bring you a message of the blessings of the Lord. His message is strong and profound to the intent on the reminder that God wants you to succeed, he wants the best for you. But Joel reminds you about a very important fact that you have to have faith, that you can be prosperous. Don't be negative, be confident and positive in the promise of the Lord, He loves us and he will provide for us if we only believe.
I thank Joel Osteen and his wife who is a powerful speaker in her own right because even thought I feel strong in my faith, he still brings me a message that I can relate to. if you don't know who Joel and Victoria Osteen are, visit their site, connect with them on TV, you will find his message uplifting.

More about Philip Pullman and The Golden Compass
Snopes talks about the truth about The Golden Compass. Here is a link to a post on a forum written by a concerned father about the impact of The Golden Compass on his son.
This is sad to market a science fiction series where God is evil. To use fantasy to promote your atheism is wrong, From what information I can get, this is some of what is in the book :God is portrayed as an evil tyrant who they kill. Children are encouraged to have sex. A priest is given the forgiveness to kill before he murders because of an 'indulgence'. There are homosexual angels and the afterlife is a dark and dreary place, until finally the 'good guys' (one of whom is Satan) comes along and frees the souls locked there, allowing them to become wind and flow through the world as one with nature again. Can you believe Satan is GOOD?
This is just another example to remind us that What The World Needs is God!

A PRAYER FOR SOLDIERS
Gracious God, I pray for our soldiers. Let your grace be a protective shield, guarding them from harm and keeping them close to your love and compassion. May I always remember that they are the ones who face the horrors and dangers of war first-hand. Help us honor them for their courage and care for them when there is damage to their bodies or spirit. When they are lonely and afraid, and long to be with those whom they love, fill their hearts with the sure knowledge of your presence at all times, in war and peace. Let them feel, O God, deep in their hearts, that your love is always there—boundlessly, unconditionally, and eternally. Amen.

Be Thankful Praise the Lord
I'm sure many of you have may have seen this post. It has made the rounds in e mails, but it bears repeating. There is always something to be thankful for.
I am Thankful...
I am thankful...for the husband who complains when his dinner
is not on time because he is home with me, not with someone else.
For the teenager who is complaining about doing dishes
because that means she is at home & not on the streets.
For the taxes that I pay, because it means that I am employed.
For the mess to clean after a party, because it means
that I have been surrounded by friends.
For the clothes that fit a little too snug, because it
means I have enough to eat.
For my shadow that watches me work, because
it means I am out in the sunshine.
For a lawn that needs mowing, windows that need cleaning,
and gutters that need fixing, because it means I have a home.
For all the complaining I hear about the government,
because it means that we have freedom of speech.
For the parking spot I find at the far end of the parking lot,
because it means I am capable of walking and that I have
been blessed with transportation.
For my huge heating bill, because it means I am warm.
For the lady behind me in church that sings off key,
because it means that I can hear.
For the pile of laundry and ironing, because it
means I have clothes to wear.
For weariness and aching muscles at the end of the day,
because it means I have been capable of working hard.
For the alarm that goes off in the early morning hours,
because it means that I am alive.
And finally.......for too much e-mail, because it means
I have friends who are thinking of me.

Pray for Alec Baldwin and His daughter
Sadly Alec Baldwin has spoken to his daughter in an angry manner. Children do make mistakes, I am sure he was angry that she did not answer his call, but the way he spoke to her was terrible. We should pray that he is able to control his anger and that this child will understand.
Please Lord, help Alec Baldwin control his anger when he talks to his daughter. Children are so fragile and innocent.

He who believes is saved
John 3:36 "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him." NIV
If we believe in Jesus we will be saved, we will have eternal life and join him in Heaven.

Rescue Me
Psalm 71: Rescue Me, O My God
In thee, O LORD, do I take refuge; let me never be put to shame!
In thy righteousness deliver me and rescue me; incline thy ear to me, and save me!
Be thou to me a rock of refuge, a strong fortress, to save me, for thou art my rock and my fortress.
Rescue me, O my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the grasp of the unjust and cruel man.
For thou, O Lord, art my hope, my trust, O LORD, from my youth.
Upon thee I have leaned from my birth; thou art he who took me from my mother's womb. My praise is continually of thee.
I have been as a portent to many; but thou art my strong refuge.
My mouth is filled with thy praise, and with thy glory all the day.
Do not cast me off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength is spent.
For my enemies speak concerning me, those who watch for my life consult together, and say, "God has forsaken him; pursue and seize him, for there is none to deliver him."
O God, be not far from me; O my God, make haste to help me!
May my accusers be put to shame and consumed; with scorn and disgrace may they be covered who seek my hurt.
But I will hope continually, and will praise thee yet more and more.

Good Friday! Jesus died for our sins
Jesus died to save us from our sins. He died a painful and bloody death to save us,all he asks of us is to believe in him and we will be washed with his blood, and at the end of our time on earth we will join him in Heaven.

My Refuge and My Fortress
Let the lord be your fortress and your refuge. If you are troubled or afraid, you can lean on the Lord.
Psalm 91: 'My Refuge and My Fortress'
Psalm 91
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High, who abides in the shadow of the Almighty, will say to the LORD, "My refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust."
For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence; he will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday.
A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you.
You will only look with your eyes and see the recompense of the wicked.
Because you have made the LORD your refuge, the Most High your habitation, no evil shall befall you, no scourge come near your tent.
For he will give his angels charge of you to guard you in all your ways.
On their hands they will bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.
You will tread on the lion and the adder, the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.
Because he cleaves to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows my name.
When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will rescue him and honor him.
With long life I will satisfy him, and show him my salvation.

Pray for Britney Spears.
Britney can use all the prayers she can get. She seems to be a young woman out of control. So many rumors being written in the tabloids and on the Internet.Clearly she is a young woman in need of help before she destroys herself. We should remember her and her family in our prayers. Pray that Britney overcomes her addictions and is able to come back to her life with her beautiful children.
As a Mother I see all these stories, and I feel so sad inside that she seems so tormented and unhappy and the world is so busy criticizing her. Please Keep her in your prayers!

Anne Rice and Christianity
I have read most of Anne Rice's books about the Vampire Lestat and other vampire and devilish characters. She is an intense writer bringing alive the the vampire's evil bloody existence.
After decades and many books she was brought back to her Catholic faith. She asked her assistant to recommend a priest. She went to him and made her confession.
She returned to the Lord in 1998. "My life is committed to Christ the Lord," she said. "My books will be a reflection of that commitment."

Praise to the Lord Psalm 24
We all belong to the Lord, and David says it so well in Psalm 24,Praise Be to the GLory of the Lord
Psalm of David.
The earth is the LORD's and the fulness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein;
for he has founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the rivers.
Who shall ascend the hill of the LORD? And who shall stand in his holy place?
He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false, and does not swear deceitfully.
He will receive blessing from the LORD, and vindication from the God of his salvation.
Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob. [Selah]
Lift up your heads, O gates! and be lifted up, O ancient doors! that the King of glory may come in.
Who is the King of glory? The LORD, strong and mighty, the LORD, mighty in battle!
Lift up your heads, O gates! and be lifted up, O ancient doors! that the King of glory may come in.
Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory! [Selah]

Lets Talk about Believe by Brooks and Dunn
Here is another great song about faith and meeting the Lord ,being reunited with the people you love when you leave this world. The chorus and one of the verses:
I raise my hands, bow my head
I'm finding more and more truth in the words written in red
They tell me that there's more to life than just what i can see
Oh i believe
I can't quote the book
The chapter or the verse
You can't tell me it all ends
In a slow ride in a hearse
You know I'm more and more convinced
The longer that i live
Yeah, this can't be
No, this can't be
No, this can't be all there is
Music will touch your soul and reinforce your faith or perhaps help you find some faith ,we can all benefit by reading the words in red and having faith in Jesus and what he offers us.
I have been posting about music lately, but music appeals to so many people,I have always found solace in music even the songs that make me cry. And sometimes that is what a good song is about it makes you remember, think, and cry.

Mercy Me, One of Christian Music's Best
So many conservative Christians are quick to dismiss contemporary Christian music, and that is a shame, because they are missing out on some great musicians giving glory to the Lord.
Now in my humble opinion. I love many, many different types of music both in secular and christian music. There are songs ranging from classical, rock and roll, jazz, easy listening, country ,even hip hop and rap. I love the old hymns,How Great Thou Art for example never fails to bring a tear to my eye. I also recognize the value of other types, the more contemporary ,Mercy Me for example.
They bring their talent and ministry to sing about us being in the glory of the lord. How could any one of us know or imagine how we would react or behave? This particular song of theirs makes me break down and cry, while in my mind I do imagine being in his presence and knowing I am not worthy, but that I have come to him through his sacrifice for my sins. And as the tears flow I think of my loved ones whose faith has taken them to be with Him also, and I know I will see them again.
Please listen to this video, keep an open mind,I am confident you will be brought to tears, too.

T Bone Christian Rapper
The first time I heard T Bone was in the movie The Fighting Temptations. I was impressed by the whole movie, and equally impressed by the sound track. The O Jays,Beyonce,T Bone,Montell Jordan,Shirley Caesar, and others. I bought both the DVD and the sound track.
He is a christian rapper and he is very talented,he could be fierce competition for mainstream rappers but his choice is to glorify the Lord.

Praise the lord for the birth of our Saviour!
We are in the season of celebration. Take time to thank and praise God for letting his son be born on Earth,so he would grow up and die on the cross and save us from our sins if we give our live to Jesus.
When you think of it,he does not ask very much in return for what he has done for us.
So please be thankful and think of the true reason for Christmas-Christ,the birth of the baby Jesus.
Check out this cd. Charlie Daniels has done a great job with these christmas songs, and he has a special message about how he feels about Christmas and the blessed birth of Jesus.
